Although, I would almost prefer the negative space on the right side rather than the giant...thing.

The concept is rather weird.The boxes kill the flow and some ae distracting due to the (1px)blacklines.
But trying new stuff like that won't hurt.

8/10, Looks sphiffy but the render looks a little too sharp. Put some noise in on the empty background to the left to complete the feel. 'Dem lazers be beastin'.
