I know I promised this a LONG time ago. In fact, you guys probably forgot about it by now. But I remembered it on this sunny Saturday afternoon, so I took the time to upload it. If you wish to show it to other people, that's fine with me, but a PM would be nice so I could see where you posted it (also, quite obviously, please do not modify or claim as your own).

I'd also like the c4d, I like to color them to match my render.

Oh right I forgot to mention to all of you. The GREYCstoration filter is not an official gimp filter, so you have to download it. A simple google search should do the trick, but I will do my best to get links up asap. I have TONS of C4DS so idk if I can post the exact ones that I used (since I made this sig a long time ago), but I will try to find them. It is really just a matter of having C4DS that match your render, and from there on its a little easier. Thanks for the comments guys.

I tried it, but I have a really crappy outcome. I think I just used the wrong type of render. And I think my c4d's are too obvious. Oh well, I'll try it again some time.

This came out really good. I might have overdone the base smudging...

@areneeb: Tbh, I like your outcome quite a lot. Yes I agree the C4D's could have been a little bit less obvious, but dude, you still did a nice job!

@savriourking: You did a good job as well. I suggest that if you ever do something similar next time, maybe use better C4Ds, that are a little bit more fitting to your render. But overall, good job.

I know I couldn't post my c4ds (reason being I couldn't find them burried in all the c4ds that I have), but I doubt it will be too much of an issue since every render needs different c4ds to look good.

Wondering, how do you guys color your C4D's?
Do you use Hue / saturation or what methods are there?

I'm surprised this tut isn't more popular, I think it's an amazing tut. Very nice outcome. Here is mine:

I added a cloudy black border and Gaussian blurred it, thought it would look cool and it blocked out some of the horrible mistakes I made at the border :P

@Terroth: Hmm.. Idk tbh. Whenever I use a C4D, I try to pick one that matches my render's color scheme. If I color anything, it is usually the sig as a whole, or the render. I have found after several attempts that attempting to recolor a C4D could make it lose some of its original glare. I did do it once on my Ryu sig (a long time ago), and people seemed to like it. The way I did it was really simple, I just desaturated it, and then colorized it. Overall though I think its a bad idea to do so.

@Pandaloo: Thanks for trying the tut. Great result!
Lol I posted this two days ago, I'd say its doing pretty well :P

@Everyone else: Nice results from everyone so far. Thanks to everyone who is trying out my tutorial. Hope it helped explore some new ideas and concepts.

Posted Image

I don't like it that much really.
I love everyone elses results, they look really cool.
Mine, not so good imo.
CnC please xD?

I screwed up at C4D part, i suck at putting them in. Or getting, them, Please could you guys suggest a site, or a pack?
And placement, not to sure, if anyone can suggest a tutorial or anything, would help. Thanks.

@terroth planet renders has some good abstract c4d's but not affect c4d's(the ones he used in this tut), if u want these kinds, try photobucket, thats where i got all my c4d's in my latest sig, and ur sig doesnt look bad, jus needs a flow.
