What's not working? You're not giving anyone anything to work with. Are you asking for help in the form of a statement or just making a statement?

Very nice sig, Omega! I like it very much!

DZ, are you doing the Alpha to Selection on the text layer? Sounds to me like you're doing it on another layer. Send me a PM or post a screenshot of what's going on.

You're only supposed to merge the layers that relate to "text". Nothing else. You'll still have separate background layers, brush layers, borders, etc. So, if you start out with a text layer that says "DecayedZombie" and you add 2 inner shadow layers, a black outer stroke layer, and a drop shadow layer, there are now a total of 5 text layers. Those are the ones you want to merge.

So i merge al the layers except the text or jsut all the non-important ones?

If this doesnt work after this then i will just have to have it like this. Plus i kinda like it like this.

You merge the ones that I told you to (in the tutorial and my reply to you). Nothing more, nothing less.

Hey, no prob. If your text looks good to you, that's what's important. I'm not asking you to blend your text like this. But, keep in mind, you're the one who posted, and I quote "Never worked for me".

I just figured I'd try to help you out, because that's what I figured you wanted. If you don't want help or don't want to use this (or any tutorials on the this board), don't make a post. It's better not to say anything at all, than to post just for the sake of posting. Plus, you've wasted my time - I've spent 20 minutes typing and responding because I felt you were interested.

Where do you get lost? Ill try to help! :l:

"This is where I changed the order of steps....

8. Here we'll add a stroke to the text. This is how I do it:

Add a new layer below your text layer.
Select the outline of the text layer, right click/(Alpha to Selection)
Grow the selection by 1 or 2 pixels (I used 1) From image window/Select-->Grow
Make new layer active and fill with black."

??? :a: ???
