The Blender Institute's Peach Project has just released Big Buck Bunny, an animated film made completely with Open Source Software (Blender, GIMP, Audacity, etc). Not only is the movie itself available as a free download, but all of the data files used (soundtracks, 3-D models, texture maps, etc) are available and free to use in your own creations under the Creative Commons license.

There are also DVD ISOs available on Archive.org.
Everybody makes their own fun. If you don't make it yourself it's not fun, it's entertainment.

I saw this. It is just fantastic. Pixar has a strong rival now...
