Want to know what this and the rest of the tuts teach me? How much more of a noob i am at making sigs :( . I have also noticed that the gimp you guys use look compltly diffrent from the one i use. Any reason why?

It depends what system you are using (Linux/Windows/Mac), and now there are themes available for Windows and Linux versions of Gimp.
