Need help!!

Okay, I just got GIMP 2.2.4 and I need help making a sig..

- Cutting out the pictures so when i paste it into the empty sig it wont show its background.

- How do you guys make the real mixture color'd background??

- How do you make a border of the sig?

Or you could repeat Common Sense 101 and try using the darn Search function.

i hate when ppl act like they have been doing stuff all their life gimptalk should take action against ppl like that

Try searching through the official tutorial index. One of the signature tutorials probably explains everything for you.

Cyber ..... if you dunno how to render(keep the pic, loose the bg) there are pretty good tuts in here .....i like to use the scissors select tool along w/ some free select and color to alpha mixed in, some prefer the paths (pen) tool, the most common one i know is the paths tool, but i hate using the paths tool on anythin tahts not a straight line .... its all a matter of style ....... im thinkin abt postin a rendering tut but i dunno if it'll be any good .... but if you want renders go to " http://www.planetrenders.net " .......
