Alright open a new image,
I used 420x200
Next, make a new layer, and paste your render.
i used
as my render.
Now make a new layer with the render completely covering it
duplicate is three times
now take one layer and gaussian blur it by 31
Filters>blur>gaussian blur
on your next layer, go to
Filters>blur>motion blur
set the blur type to radial, and angle to 85
(optional step here)
-for the next:
for my render because it was bright, i went to
Filters>enhance>red eye removal, and i set the threshold to 50-
next i duplicated the layer, gaussin blured the new layer, and left it alone.
now for the brushing, take our your firey brushes, and pick two different colors, and brushes, i chose black and silver.
Now, make two new layers, and brush around, don't cover up the whole thing though. Brush on the next layer, but only use one color per layer.
On one of the last steps, go to
Filter>render>nature>flame, and click on the button at the top named "edit" now, click on the variation box, and hit randomize, and now find a flame you like, and click on it, hit ok. then ok again.
I have 9 layers.

Note:My layers aren't named that, but they have those things on them.
To open up your layers dock, go to dialogs, and layers, or hit ctrl+L
Move your layers around so they match mine, and then to change the settings for each layer click the drop down box, and find the setting.
