For my history fair project I decided to create a banner that said Anti KKK.

I made a banner that was red and white. And I cut out a KKK symbol picture. I have a "anti" or "No" symbol and I want to put it behind the KKK symbol. How do I do that. In other words I want to put the Anti picture behind it so they can still see the KKK symbol

Banner without the anti symbol:

Anti symbol sign (go behind the KKK symbol):

BTW: I can always scale the two pictures to make the anti one bigger than the KKK symbol.

Help plz thank you

Paste your "anti" symbol on a new layer and then run..
Colors --> Color to Alpha (i think - might be under Filters --> Colors --> Color to Alpha if you're using an older Gimp version).

That should remove the white from the "anti" symbol and let you put it over the top while still seeing the KKK logo.

...then if you want the kkk symbol on top, ( but left the reddish thingy as background, you may focus on the background layer (=make it the active layer)do a circular selection around the kkk. copy, then paste add a new layer and move it on top...

More easy to do then to explain :a:
