Very nice and easy to follow, thanks for sharing.
The black text on a dark background becomes somehow unreadable on my LCD monitor, may be just my opinion.

Hi all. Sorry for not replying earlier (I'v been bombarded with exams!).
Bucket-head: Your buttons look great. I especially like the big blue one.
Gus: You click on your colour palette and you enter the 6-digit number in the "HTML Notation" box.

I have trouble drawing a straight line with the brush. I know there's an easy trick to this... is there?

If you want to draw a straight line, this is what you do: Take the brush tool and click where you want your line to start. Then, hold your shift key (you'll see a line following your mouse pointer). Thanks for the comments everybody. You're too kind. I wish I had time to write more tutorials, but university is taking up all of my time. When school's out though, I'll try to get back to making more tuts.
