Is there a reason that Fencepost's excellent tutorials on GIMP scripting aren't on the official list?

:cry: GIMP need's me as the "tester" on these tutorials.
It's a matter of; "See if your Papaw can make it work?"

I don't seem to be able to make any of them work.

I am having trouble with the Layers, Text, reading the tutorials.

I'd sure like to exchange notes with somebody about this problem. :cry: :(
