all right, thiis tut is old, but i absolutley love it. here's my result. i like the bright right side, the contrast reminds me more of fire. i had to adjust a few steps, cuz this render isnt the best for this, but i like how it came out.

Nice work on those signatures. The first one looks quite nice. Reminds me of fiery coals in a fire.

@ SAMUSLOVER213:

I've just been really busy with work, school and videogames. I haven't had much free time. Later, maybe in the summer when I'm more relaxed I'm sure I'll get more into Gimp again and these forums.

I'm glad you still remember me. :)

haha. Without you, it would have been alot harder to learn sig making.

I did plan a gift project for you and several others, but I only managed one. I might make the others(including yours) once I get 'un-rusty' from sig making.

Yo TKB this time it managed to come out what I think is a pretty good result:
Posted Image

the only complaint I have on myself it the render seems way to small for the width of the image but the text size kinda makes up for it.

And it the render itself seems far less translucent than in your example

but anyway i think i did dang good for my current skill level which is still begginer

@ Samuslover:

:)

I don't mind if you do it or not, maybe when I get back into signature making I can do the same.

@ NINTENDO_FTW!:

I agree, with what you said. It works but it would be better with a larger image.

I know my text sucked. I got frustrated a few times because my results when I would give a grain merge and lighten wouldn't look very detailed so I had to mess around with brushing more off and on. I messed around with adding soft and dark light effects to blend pieces of the render better.

But.. here is my result
