I was just playing around and came up with a nice swirly thing. Its easy though there isnt much to it. Hope you like it :w:

[*]Create a new image, any size.

[*]Filters>Render>Plasma, any seed, turbulence=1

[*]Filters>Distorts>Whirl and pinch
angle=300.00
amount=-1.000
radius=2.000
you can play with these settings if you want.

[*]you should have something like this now:


[*]Layer>Colours>Hue-saturation, change all the colors to one color, no matter which. i used cyan with mine:


[*]Filters>Blur>Motion blur, zoom. length=6 keep the blur center in the middle

[*]Layer>Colours>Brightness-contrast, set them both to 75-95, i did 90 with mine.

[*]And there you go. My result:


[*]could also have it in red:


Might be handy in a signature or something. If you feel like it you can motion blur it again at the end.
