IM SORRY FOR THE BAD QUALITY BUT IMAGESHACK WONT TAKE IMAGES OVER 1.5 MB SO THIS IS A GIF...

Hi there. This is my second in depth tutorial on gimp talk. I tried to make it as interesting as possible, but I put a lot of text in some places. Not to worry though, if you have just a little experience with gimp you should be able to pull it off. BTW, this took quite a while to upload. I literally got up to get a drink, and by the time my drink was half empty was when it loaded.

Level: Intermediate
What you need: Knowledge of gradient maps
Basic Path tool how to
Usage of basic gimp filters and tools.

IF ANYONE DOES THIS TUTORIAL, PLEASE POST YOUR RESULTS, I AM VERY INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU CAN COME UP WITH USING MY TUTORIAL!!!!!

Alright, well sorry guys but I had to save it as a gif with 55 quality (since the size was a bit too big for imageshack). Either way, it is here now, and I apologize for the bad quality. Try it anyways though!!!

Nice, I'll give this a shot right after dinner :h:

Edit: Here's what I got... I don't like the triangle things on mine, but I like the rest of it. I might have to give this another shot. Thanks for the tut!

Wow great result HippieKender! I can see you added your own ouch here and there. I like the overall outcome.

Eragon, im not sure how I could post the anti rip stamp. If you want though, I can save it as a png and PM it to you (I made it btw).

I don't like the outcome very much. Maybe take out that part about creating the wedges.

Well so far, people have been doing the wedges wrong... I mean, look at the actual tut... I erased most of the wedges, and made it barely noticeable. The goal of the wedges is to sort of create some depth. Hippie kender did it a bit weird cause it seemed like he erased witht he wrong brush. If you erase most of it, it should look good. And hey, if you really dont the wedges, feel free to leave them out :w:.
