Looks good wilrecar77! Thankyou for shareing!

Im currently working on a new tutorial for fading frames, currently it takes me a long time and alot of energy to make my tutorials because I try to cover each tricky step. Im planing on simplifing my tuts as my next project so I can pump more tutorials out and quicker lol

Great job, SW! The only thing I would change is maybe increase the time of display for your "A Boy Scout is" frame. Other than that I think it's great.

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial, it made my first steps with 'gap' a lot easier!

And since you wanted to see our 'artwork', here you go - my beginners piece (an avatar for another forum), a lot left to learn for me, but still amazing what you can do with Gimp without problems!

From the sound of it your not saving the image right and/or you have no source image open or the source image is not in RGB color mode. Im going to combine your posts into one to keep it in one post.

RGB is a color mode.

From Image Window... "Image/Mode/RGB"

Im unable to help other than recomend retrying the Lesson and look for any steps you did wrong. I use to get these errors alot when I first started learning the GAP. I assure that the tutorial is sound! :w:

Google GTK! but Im sure its a step your missing causeing the GAP to crash!
