Yeah, that's a good explanation for newer gimpers. I always wished there was an easier way to add scanlines then to needing to make one and save as a gimp pattern.

I surely will be using this method for userbars and scanline renders.

Quick and easy although in my view the other way of making a pattern looks most affective
