hi i am new and i tried to download the shrek text but it say i dont have the permission to save it in the gimp script fu folder any one have any idea how can i solve it?

It won't work for me! I have the script installed and everything, I just get an error message.

i got it how to work and here is a tip for whoever who didnt get it how to do it:

go to this website http://www.open-sour...r-Gimp-2.4.html and click on any one of the shrek img and when you do it will ask you to save or open, so you save it on your desktop and then open up your Gimp scripts and drag and drop the file in there and then close Gimp and restart it and you will have it.

NOTE: This was for windows so I don't know if it will work on apple or other company's computer or laptop

for those who are having problems installing the script
i had troubles installing this shrek text script. and here's how i solved it.

i used the script found here

and i changed the line way in the bottom to something like this and the script appeared in the filters drop down menu

(script-fu-menu-register "script-fu-shrek-text"
			 "/Filters/Shrek Text/")

btw, i'm using gimp 2.6.6

Same here. Every time I click on the appropriate link I get `page not found'.
