Would you like to change the colour of your pattern??

like...from

Well, nothing easier.

New image, fill with the desired pattern.
new transparent layer, fill with desired colour.
change the second layer to overlay.

or do the same except change the layer to burn

Also try adjusting the opacity in the layers, channels... window.

that's really nice and do you know why??? because that is actually a verry complex tutorial. I color my sigs which I make desaturated like this. Although I use gradient map with two colors then play with modes. Nice tut and Noob should look here :)
