What V. are you using? I got 2.3.4 I think, and I got the stuff fine... : /

In some earlier version, there wasn't any Script-fu for me at all! Try re downloading and installing 2.3.4.

Your using the Development version....Im using the Stable :/

2.2.8 I think

This may seem dumb...but how do I download the Dev Version :c:

YAYYYY I have the DEV version of Gimp...but bad news....the Layer Affects thing still doesnt appear. :c:

Infact...Script Fu doesnt even appear

I have the latest version of Gimp (i just downloaded it yesterday) and i dont have the layer effects script fu. where can i get it?

If you have Windows, click the one that ends in ".zip", if you have linux, click the other one.

i dont know but i dont have anything that shows what you showed in script fu. did you download another plug-in or something?

I just have a question, when I click "download" it doesn't download it comes up with a new site that says "HTTP Status 500 -" Is this supposed to happen? Also, right below it there's a lot of java scirpt and above the java it says like "exception." Is this supposed to happen to? I need help... I'm a newb to GIMP and scirpts so ya....

ok, first of all, i dont have the Layer and when i download something and try to open it, A message comes up from gimp saying,


error, file cannot be found... This came up with the last link that came out.

please help

I'm not sure about the download problem, but the Layer Effects aren't located in Layer->Render->Layer Effects, it's Script-fu->Render->Layer Effects. Look there instead.
