Are you talking about gtk themes ?
And what operating system are you using, if windows, then I can direct you the use of gtk theme selector, somehow.

I think its the GTK... I was just wanting to change the window borders, Im useing XP. This is a link to the borbers I was talking about http://art.gnome.org/themes/metacity/ Currently I have the same borders as "My Computer" theme... I did some searching and couldnt really find any info other than what you mentioned about theme engines, and got confused!LOL The most info I found was @ the [GUG] Site... but nothing real clear...
Thanks,

If you dont want to mess with many problems configuring gtk themes.
then I suggest you use windowblinds for XP, which is microsoft certified desktop environment tuner.

Yes I do like the sound of this better because as you said "many problems configuring gtk themes" from what I was able to find there really isnt any simple way to adapt window borders. I'm going to keep my eyes out though and post here if I do find an answere to this, as Im sure the thought is apealing to others as well!

That is great, if we continue working this way, gimptalk will become an ideal community for gimp users. this way we can also learn too many new things.
Looking forward to your tutorial.
