Wow sweet outcome there. I have followed this tut for a couple of things, and have actually at this point made 4 sigs from it but here is my most recent and most closely fllows the steps in the tutorial:

I really like the colors in yours, Lowfire. The swirls effect in yours, betawar, is a really nice.

Excuse me for being a total noob, but how do you get the lines in the gradient to bend and curve? I've tried it with the circle tool, and it just doesn't look like what you're producing.
Also, Gus, could you please explain the process for making the second image in your post?

I must be doing something wrong, because whenever I try to use the Gradient took with it set on "Addition" it just covers over whatever I have with white...

I know how to make straight lines, I'm wondering how people make certain lines (but no others) do turns, and in some cases, even do a 180. Is there a special key you can hold down to modify the gradient line before it's rendered?

you can change the gradient type in the gradient tool box. from linear to circular.
