Thank you for the script...will try to experiment with it this weekend. And I guess I forgot about index and rgb making such a difference in effects. So next time I will remember to get the background totally finished beforehand, while it's still in rgb mode! I have learned a lot doing this tutorial, thanks to all!
It is well explained how to use the combine background, but what does overlay background do?

Overlay background places a copy of the background (bottom) layer on top of each layer and then merges it onto the layer. It might be useful in placing some text onto each frame of an animation (as one example).

Wish I had seen this tut a few months or a year ago, I had to figure out this by myself when I did it. I think its best to make the gifs yourself and not use internet ones they will turn out better that way I think when you put them in your sig.
