Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you know of a plugin that will allow me to open & edit .iff files in Gimp? I've had a good old search around the forums here, and done a spot of googling, and am still clueless.

Many thanks in advance of some guidance - there must be something of the kind out there, somewhere...

:w:

Can open IFF files with Irfanview, but don't believe that you can save in this format. :)

xnview should work fine
anyway other 2 alternatives for windows
http://www.stdout.org/~luke/iff2tga/utility to convert iff in targa, on same page another to convert in 32 bit tiff

then this should add support for 200 file format ,including iff to the default windows viewer http://www.highend3d.com/downloads/tools/image_utilities/imageXtender-5037.html
this will work only for XP
