OK! Heres how it goes...you post the riddle and then hit enter quite a few times and post the answer...try and come up with it instead of cheating n_n
I'll start it off, this one is kinda hard x_x,
Theres a room with no windows and only one door, you can NOT see inside it without opening the door! Inside the room is a light bulb which you NEED to turn on. There are THREE light switches OUTSIDE the room and only one can be turned on at a time. Also, you can only open the door and enter the room ONCE. How do you figure out which light switch turns on the light?
(Hint: you can use more than one light switch)

Answer: Flip the first light switch and leave it on for ten minutes. Then turn it off and flip the next light switch. Enter the room; if the light is off but hot, it was the first switch, if it is on it was the second switch, if it is off and not hot it was the third switch n_n

Here:

A woman shoots her husband.
Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes.
Finally, she hangs him.
But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together.

How can this be?

Answer:
The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband, developed it, and hung it up to dry

Okay, I'll post a riddle, but I won't post the answer yet. I wanna see if anyone can guess this. :P

You are in a room made of solid brick. There is nothing in the room but a table, and on the table there is a mirror. How do you escape the room?

*Don't say something stupid, like "Throw the table at the wall and break down the wall" Actually think about it. :P

Climb on top of the table and climb out of the roof. Since there is nothing in the room that means that there is no room. Though im pretty sure that is not the answer.

Dig your way out, using the sharp mirror (who said there was a floor?) :w: j/k, that's a tough one...

I remember the answer to that riddle is something stupid like: "You look in the mirror and see what you saw, the you take the saw and saw the table in half"...i dont remember the rest x_x

Heres a REALLY easy one:
A cowboy rides his horse onto town on a friday and then leaves town TWO days later on FRIDAY. How is that possible?
(Hint: Friday=?)

Answer: Friday is the name of his horse n_n

well if it's solid brick then how can you get in :O

you break the mirror, kill yourself and you either turn into a ghost and phase out or you rise to the clouds (or fall to your demise)

also if theres nothing in the room how are you in there?!?

btw why did i even go in the room.

or you're in a dream and you wake up :P

What is so fragile that when you say its name you break it?

@Parappa: I knew the answer to your riddle! I heard it somethwere before. :w:

Okay guys, heres another one...

A guy and his son are in a car. They get into a horrible car crash and the father is killed. The son is rushed to the hospital, but when they get there the doctor says, "My goodness, I cannot perform an operation on this child for he is my son!" How can this be?

Answer: The doctor is the childs mother. Was this surprisingly easy or surprisingly hard?

Edit:The above posters riddle is actually pretty hard!

Hold on, I got one.

Okay, so a man moves to Antarctica in a room with 10 rooms, 6 windows, and 4 doors. Suddenly, a bear crashes through the room just as the man starts moving in and he immediately jumps out a window. The bear keeps following the man until he comes to a cliff, and therefore jumped to save his life.

When he came to, he was in a village.

The question is: What color was the bear?
:w:

Yeah, Ni-Juu got most of it.

It was:
Look into the mirror, look away, then look back. You see what you saw before. Take the saw, cut the table in half, because two halves make a whole. Move the hole over to the wall, and crawl through it.

You are walking in a deep forrest in the middle of no where. In this forrest two culture's live, the Honest people and the Lying people. The honest people always tell the truth and the lying people always lie. Suddenly the road splits, one way heads to the village of the Honest people (where you are heading to) and the other one to the village of the Lying people. You see one man walking around, you don't know if he's a Honest man or a Lying man, what do you need to ask him to make sure you get to the Honest village?

Good luck :w:

Yup STH. Afro's riddle is weird. There are no bears in Antarctica, but i doubt that's a part of the answer..is it?

EDIT: Lowfire....that's a nice one. I dont think ive heard that one before, lots of lying and honest "riddles" i hear are paradox.

I think your's is paradox somehow, but i'm clueless. Question: Where do you live???

Lowfire, I've heard that before, it's like Ask one door if they're lying or something like that.

Lowfire, I heard that. It's something like:

Quote:
Where would the other tribe tell me to go

Then you could just go the opposite way or something like that :/ Not remembering the answer ftl

yeah almost,
you should ask 'Where do you come from'

the honest man will point to the road he came from (the honest village) and the lying man would lie and point to the honest village too :w:

Ummm I think it's a polar bear.... If you're talking about the polar bear, their skin is black, while their fur is white, I think.

Badly worded.

My point #1 is that it says "he immediately jumps out a window" but doesn't say who "he" is. It could be the bear, meaning the bear was red from the cuts from the window.

#2... If "he" is the man, he could have jumped over the bear. Making the bear go over the cliff and hit the ground below, the answer being red again. If "he" is the bear, he may have fallen off the cliff and passed out. The villagers take him into the village.

It's a badly worded riddle.

LOL...
@Parapa: I got that riddle from a friend, I guess he got it from the cosby show lol! I used to watch that show a while ago :w:.
@Lowfire: I heard that on yo-gi-oh when I used to watch it about a year ago. I forgot the answer thou gh.
@Afrochicken: If he is in antartica the bear is probably a polar baer, so the bear was white... but I dont know if there are bears in antarctica. Good riddle though.

Ask him where he lives.

The honest man points to the Honest village. The liar points the Honest village.

You are traveling to a distant land, and with you you have a fox, a chicken and some chicken feed. You come to a bridge, but it is a weak bridge, so you can only carry one thing with you at a time. If you leave the chicken with the fox, the fox will eat the chicken and if you leave the chicken with the chicken feed the chicken will eat the feed. How can you get all three over the bridge?

Answer: Take the chicken over first. Go back. Take the chicken feed over. Go back again but this time with the chicken. Now leave the chicken and bring the fox over. Now go back again. Take the chicken over. Simple!!!

This is actually a quite famous riddle and not a lot of people can answer it. Was it hard? easy?
