Welcome to, Vo1ture Sharp Grudge Abstract tutorial! Below, is the tutorial, and I hope you learn something out of this.

You'll need Floppy's Scratch and Dirt Brush Pack


First, we'll start out with a black background. Then, add a new layer, set it to normal. Start to brush with the brushes I mentioned above, make them white. Try not to brush on top of one another. You should get something as below.



Once you get that, make a new layer, and set it to soft light Brush with the same brushes, except, make it black. You can overlay them this time. Keep brushing until you like it. You should get this below.



Then, create another new layer, and set it to soft light, again. Brush with both black and white until satisfied. It should look like a normal grudge background, now. Merge all of the layers.



Then, go to Enhance>Sharpen, and Sharpen the layer by 50-60. Or, until satisfied. It should be halfway sharpish.



Add your color next, the color will depend on how sharp it'll look, in my opinion.



Then, merge all of the layers into one. Once again, sharpen the layer. 40-60 works the best. But, do it until satisfied.



Add your render, small effects, and text, and you have your very first sharp grudge abstract! Three examples below, enjoy!







I'm sure you can do this with any other grudge backgrounds, you just need to remeber to sharpen it quite a bit. Somebody else can try that out, though. :w:

I think I used the gradient tool, and I blurred the fish. Don't really remeber, though. :s:
