Hi again GIMP talk patrons,

Today I'm going to show you how to make a animation that shows the render moving in a specific direction. This can be time consuming.

First open a bank template about 1500 x 200

This will be the background to the signature.

Next you can add any color or background you want, I just put a blue background.

Then add a new transparent layer

Place a few brush strokes to add in clouds or objects into the image.

Then put a gassian blur 5.0 5.0 and, merge down. (Filters>Blur>Gassian Blur)

After that you will need to set a motion blur in any direction, I chose these settings.

After that is done you add your render mine is a x-wing fighter jet, I used from this thread.

Now, copy/paste the render into the background.

Go to the dialog>layers panel and right click on the pasted layer then choose new layer.

Repeat the last step, and position the render along the background in a linear path.

Should look a lit bit like this when you're done.

Merge down all layers and rect select all the images out with cut or copy and paste as new.

Remember to change each pasted layer to a new layer or it'll just replace the previous layer with the newly pasted layer.

Once the images are pasted go into dialog>layers and switch the mode to multiply.

You'll have to align the render to the previous render or you'll have problems in the finished gif.

Remember to reset the mode back to normal when you've aligned the render.

After you've finished alignment, crop the images and, save as a gif.

The finished animation.
