Hello, welcome to my 3rd topic, making what you see below:

Image

1. Open up mostly two colored image, 3 is fine too.

Image

2.Go to Image< Blur< Pixellize and set the parameters 10 and 10.

Image

3.Go to Image< Enhance< Sharpen and set to 99.

Image

4.Set Gradient to yellow orange, and gradient map. It works better to create a more yellow color on the left, as shown.

ImageImage

5.Go to Image< Distorts< Polar Coords. Set the parameters as shown below.

Done! How'd your floor turn out? feel free to ask any questions, and show results.

You can right click on the image or use the menu bar. I just like saying "Go to Image" because then noobies will know you're not going to the actual Gimp window but to the image. Just a thought.

Not really a GIMP filter (it's a JAVA JAR), but this one's quite cool for creating mosaics. If you add some bumpmapping, you can really get pretty cool looking mosaic tiles. Below's one that I did on Innographx site. :)
