Hello, Havok!

I have tryed this tutorial many times, and did not get the effect you had.

This time i tryed it and noticed the brushes I were using did not match the brushes in This Screenshot:

I love the effect you are using and i was wondering if i could get the link to those Adhero Art Brushes?

EDIT: I found them! HERE: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/23746748/

I'll post my results in a sec

QUOTE:
The magic wand tool often leaves a rough edge around the render (such as white). In addition to what Havok said, you want to zoom in and manually erase the edges so you get a clean cut.

No you use the paths tool.

I dont want to flame or anything, but I found this tutorial poorly done, and the image not at all what I expected. Perhaps I didnt read or it wasnt what I expected, but what purpose does the bg serve, I can barely see it. The images are far too big, the explanations are poor and it really hurts my eyes. I can tell you put a lot of work into it, but I find it a shaky, underinformed tutorial.
