Okay, this tutroial will show you how to make a picture look old. (it's most for beginners)
This is the picture i'm going to use:

Step 1: lets start Gimp
Step 2: Select file>Open and select the image you want to use
Step 3: Select script-fu>Decor>Old Photo and select OK
you image should look like this:

Step 4:Go to Scribt-Fu>Decor>Coffe stain
Choose how many stains you want:

And the final result should look like this:
