Find User's Topics

See my war machine sig down there? this is a tut to create a BG sort of like it's

1. Open up a new sheet, i use 400x150
2. Delete first layer
3. Make new layer, Transparency
4. Go Filters>Render>Plasma, Set turbulence on 7.0, new seed till u get what u want
5.Desaturate or Colorize to ur color, desaturate to make that the secondary texture, colirize to make it the dominant texture
6. New Layer
7. Render Plasma, .01 turbulence
8. Colorize or desaturate, do the opposite of what you did first
9. Set low turbulence on overlay
10. Merge layers
11. New layer
12. Go Filters>Render>Nature>Flame
13. Hit Edit, chose linear, and change speed and randominze till u get one u like
14. Move the layer to bottom left hand corner, keeping as much flame onscreen as you can
15. Set it on overlay, and colorize until it looks good
16. Do steps 11-15 again with different seeds of flame until the BG covered in overlay flames, and your satisfied with the texture
17. Merge all layers, Duplicate
18. Set Duplicate layer on Overlay, colorize until satisfied, merge all layers

Part 2, adding the color

1. New Layer
2. Select Gradient tool, use Gradient Burning Transparency
3. Drag it over sideways over the darkest area, so that the fire goes straight up and down through it
4. Set layer on overlay
5. New layer
6. select gradient black to white, and Drag from top to bottom
7. Set layer on overlay, Merge Down
8. Go to Layers>Color> Hue-Saturation
9. Adjust setting to you liking
10. Duplicate Layer
11. Set duplicate on overlay, invert colors
12. Color balance to your liking

Part 3, The Texture Brushing

1. New Layer
2. Brush with one layer of black grunge, about 3 brushes
3. Next Layer with White Grunge
4. Third new layer with whit and black grunge, merge down grunge layers
5. Partially erase with another grunge brush
6. Duplicate 3 times, merge all down, redo step 5
7. Redo steps 6-7 until satisfied
8. Colorize to your choice of color

Part 4, The Texture Enhancing

1. Merge all layers
2. New layer
3. Render Flame, whatever texture you want
4. Cover BG in flame, set all on burn, dodge, soft light, or multiply, depending on sig type
5. Merge all layers
6. New Layer
7. Gradient black to white, drag gradient from darkest part of your sig to the brightest, set layer on overlay
8. Duplicate Layer
9. Motion Blur in any direction
10. Set Motion blur on overlay, Screen, or Grain Extract, depending on sig type

Part 5, Finishing touches

1. Add Render
2. Duplicate BG, Set on Overlay over render on whatever opacity and merge down
3. Color Balance sig to blend into BG
4. Duplicate, Guassian Blur or do any touches you want then set on overlay
5. Render Plasma On 7.0 turbulence, desaturate and set over render with overlay
6. Merge Down
7. If your satisfied, Merge all layers

Part 6, The TEXT

1. Choose Text at Dafont.com, take the trufont out and put it into C:> Windows>fonts
2. Freetype a Font in While onto the siggy, big enough to notice
3. Hit layers>Transpareny> Alpha to selection
4. Press control-I
5. Script-fu Drop-shadow x:3 y:3 color black blur 4, deselect allow resizing
5. Drop shadow 1x1 white no blur
6. Colorize
7. Duplicate BG, overlay on top of text then merge
8. Set text on burn, dodge, grain merge, difference, addition, screen, or overlay in somewhere that fits it, expirament

Hope u liked it, took me like 30 minutes, good, quick, good looking sig
