Yeah ..and she know well how to go everywhere...

Done with Gimp and Xnview

Xnview come handy to prepare the 3 kaleidoscopic variation a Halo render that create the background or better the coreography, with my favorite kaleidoscope plugin
Then the 3 layer of the background were copied, and pasted and merged with gimp

I found interesting use the kaleidoscope not only for abstract but just as a tool to create scenery where 3D character may move, the character is by http://www.sadestock.deviantart.com and was done in poser

Is possible that nobody has a positive or negative comment on this?

I hate bump my post in the gallery, but i was quite happy to have found a less abstract use of kaleidoscope...or you think is less interesting because i didn't everything from scrap?

EDIT

She has some pets too ,all fearless explorers as you may see

woah, yeah, that's awesome :D

the first is nice too
I think the edges of the girl were feathered/blurred/blended too much though

I like the title of this thread, catches the eye. :-)

The girl in the first one fits in better than other similar figures in your previous work I think -- the colours match and she looks really integrated into the image. Good job, she also establishes a good focus of the image.

The other image has a good "flow" in it, you can sense movement in it. I would still like to see some blurring though, to separate distant parts of the image and make it look less repetitive. The green "islan" at the bottom part of the image could easily be blended so as not show the spiral of the tentacles above it, for example.
