its definatly different and cool, my suggestion is that you balance it out a bit more instead of picking one of those. Whatever backround picture you used, there is a gap in the color so to speak to the right of the man and it kinda draws too much attention. I dont think most people would notice why, but there eyes would definatly be drawn to that side.

heh actually i didn't use a bakcground picture, all the background came from the render. I started with a gradient of a light color of the render and a dark color of the render. Then (besides grunge brushes), i duplicated the render and moved it around and picked, blurred, smudged, etc. till it made for a nice background.
