Heres my second attempt. I looked back at other ppl's and realised I shudnt have posted that last one. I was quite pleased with this next one, altho still quite amaturish. Thanks to the author of this tutorial.

when i do the flame filter, then the path to selection and gradent, how do i get rid of all of the tiny dots that came with the original flame?

Im not totally sure if this is what you mean, but I had a problem with the original flame in that it had a grey border around the flame strokes, which the gradient didn't colour. All I did was: after doing the path to selection selecting the outline etc... I removed the flame layer, which gets rid of the flame but leaves its outline. I then applied the gradient to this outline in a new layer so I could move it. If you have a few dots though you could use the eraser....hope this is what u mean.

Well heres my 1st attempt at a vector and the 6th sig I made. I find this one to be my best so far :)



The only problem I had was making nice text so I put in that pokeball and formed the letters around it.

I just don't get how you get the flame to look the way it supposed to
