Find User's Topics

The plugin I am working on can take a while. I wanted to allow the user to cancel it. There is a gimp-progress-cancel function in the pdb but I can't figure out how to use it (I'm downloading the GIMP sourcecode tarball now to try...) and can't find any scripts that use it. Even searching with google only comes up 3 hits and all are in a syntax highlight list only.

Thanks,

Tarball didn't help much :( Just shows it needing a pointer to a function as a parameter (I think - don't know C that well)...

Use the pdb browser ('Procedure browser') to look it up.

I am well past the point of looking it up. I need to know how to use it. The pdb (and dev help, which I have) both say:

Quote:
gimp-progress-cancel
Cancels a running process.

Parameters: progress-callback STRING The name off the callback registered for this progress

Additional INformation This function cancels the currently running progress

Which doesn't help as I can not figure out how to define a callback in scheme! Maybe it is only supported in python?
