This is my first Tutorial so sorry if it sucks.

Ok Step:
1: Open a new Image. (Mine will be 400x100).
Image

2: No go to File> Open as Layer. And bring in a c4drender.
Image

3: Now Make a new layer. Now just fill in the new layer with whatever color you want.
Image

4: Now set that layer to overlay. (You can Multiply it a couple of times if it is not dark enough).
Image

5: Once you get it to where you like it then bring in your render.
Image

6: Place the render where you want it.

7: Go to Layer and click your render's layer. ( NOTE: That the render must be transparent)...Then rightclick and select alpha to selection. Grow the selection by 2. Then make a new layer. And fill the selection in with a color that macthes the backround. (Select your new layer before you Fill it in).
Image
Image

8: Set the layer to Overlay. (And you can multiply it a couple of times if its not dark enough).
Image

9: Then just add a border and some font to it and your done..

Sorry if it sucks.. Or if its been done before
Heres a example of my results....

Nice job! Will be very helpful to noob's everywhere! :l:

Just one suggestion: you might want to put in a note about the render needs to have a transparent background before they can do the Alpha to Selection! Otherwise, you'll be answering questions until you're my age! :w:

Thanks for the tutorial.

You'd be surprised how many noob's are out there. A lot of them don't register. Maybe they will now when they see users like you participating in this fashion.

You can always edit the things you don't like in the tutorial to make it even better. It's fine.

Thanks again.

Where does everyone get their C4D-renders!? I've been looking for them everywhere, but I've only found really ugly ones so far...

You can get c4d renders at most render sites.

You can google c4d renders.

Or you can go here. They have some here

Here's my result. Though it's combined with Vu1ture's tutorial "potentional beauty".
NOTE: This is made on a very weird laptop, so the colours are probably gonna be messed (word edited by fencepost) up. I sent it to my other computer to see how it looked, and there it was way too light and bland.

Edit: Please watch your language on the board. Fencepost

I'm still confused on c4d's and what the are and how to get them...But I didn't see much point in the tutorial because there was only that small streak at the top that was blue, if the colors could of been a little more mixed that would look good.
