HELP

Why is it when I copy the pic of daffy and the gang, do the stretch and screw business, copy and then paste on a new layer it covers my whole pic with em, how do I get rid of that white background which covers my masterpiece?!?!?!

thanks in advance for helping.

Don't know why. Are you saving the image Daffy and the Gang and then opening it up as a layer on your sig background? It's a png file that already has the white background removed, so I don't know why it would be showing up on your background with a white area.

I just right click on havok's pic, save, open with paint, do the screw business then paste on my masterpiece and it covers it.

I know the tutorial discussed using of MS Paint, but you can do the same thing directly in GIMP, without the Paint step. However, if you still want to use Paint, what format are you saving it in prior to bringing it into GIMP? It needs to be a png or a gif. They are the formats that support transparency.

Great tut. Will definatly use this more than once. I'm not too crazy about it, but here's my result. It seems to have too many white spots. That might have to do with the size of the brush I used in some layer.

EDIT: Added some text and moved the render to cover up the black space. Looks better now.

I posted a sig from a different tut before. The sig you see now is what I made. I like it quite a bit, but it isn't my favorite. I'm going to keep trying it with different renders.
