I like the tutorial but one question? If I make the blended text brush how do I change the size so I can use it for every sig? I want to use it alot but all sigs require different sized text.

I don't think you can resize them the same way as you would a brush you've made yourself using the brush editor, all I can suggest is to resize and save as a different sized brush.

Nevermind I figured it out. Just put it on it's own layer and scale the layer to the size you want it.

Thank you so much! I've just made about ten new brushes, so now I won't have to use others' brushes and credit them all over the place...I'm on my way to being 100% self sufficient (er, GIMP wise anyways)!!! I've got hearts, sparkles, all sorts of stuff going! :D

Here's my first Pipe Brush set with varying sizes. I know they're not great but I just experimenting. I used the Gradient Difference Filter and the Free Select Tool:

Here's my RGB Ankh brush with 2 baby ones as earrings:

And the same brush, RGB but in gray:

A Pipe Brush is a brush that has more than 1 layer with a different brush on each layer. Every time you apply the brush to a canvas, you get a different layer so it's a different brush.

Art expalins it all at the beginning of this tutorial

It's really very straight forward and fun to make your own brushes. Give it a try, but make sure you read everything carefully as you go along :!:
